About

A PERSONAL UNIFORM was launched in 2014 by Sorada Thaiwaranon, a womenswear graduate from Central St. Martins. Having trained at Antwerp—based A.F Vandevorst and at Richard Nicoll in London, Sorada approaches the brand concept with the idea of creating an aspirational lifestyle of basic garments with careful consideration given to the cut and versatility of each design.

A PERSONAL UNIFORM pays homage to a discreet and singular style of wear. Our aesthetic derives from a certain consistency in the way a woman dresses and how she adopts that as her very own uniform. Not limited by seasons and trends, our garments are launched in of 8—to—12—piece editions every 4 months on a rolling basis. All editions, old and new, are simultaneously available at any given time.

We are inspired by the thoughtful and artistically inclined woman, whose approach to dressing feeds off her deep sensitivity to the surrounding where she curates and refines her identity. A PERSONAL UNIFORM is as much about the clothes as it is about the woman who wears them.

We are dedicated to supporting the local economy and nurturing the skills found within domestic garment manufacturing. A PERSONAL UNIFORM Studio is based in Bangkok where all garments are carefully designed and deliberately crafted in small quantities.
