A Personal Uniform was established in 2014 by Sorada Thaiwaranon, a Central St. Martins womenswear graduate. Having trained at Antwerp-based A.F Vandevorst and Richard Nicoll in London, Sorada approaches her label with practicality in mind. The concept is grounded in the idea of elevating clothing to the level of the iconic—with careful consideration given to construction and detail.
A Personal Uniform pays homage to a discreet and singular style of wear. Our aesthetic derives from a certain consistency in the way a woman dresses and how she adopts that into her very own uniform. Not limited by seasons and trends, our garments are launched in an edition of 15 to 20 pieces every six months.
The concept of A Personal Uniform is built around the re-interpretation of garments that are essential to women’s wardrobes, with an emphasis on unconventional details that push them beyond the basics. A Personal Uniform women are style-conscious and possess a strong sense of self. They opt for ease, elegance and understatement over trendiness.
A Personal Uniform's studio is based in Bangkok where all garments are crafted from high quality material and are produced in-house.
